Paulo is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator and comic book script writer. Among other things, Paulo has contributed short stories and series to Portuguese and international magazines and newspapers, such as Expresso, Complot, Die Wochenzeitung, Quadrado, and Strapazin. Most recently, he as done a series of Q&As with cartoonists, which you can read here, and runs QuoteOnComics.com.

Matt Madden | Consulting Editor

Matt is a cartoonist and illustrator, who also teaches comics and drawing at the School of Visual Arts. Among other works, Matt published the fantastic 99 Ways To Tell a Story, by Chamberlain Brothers, a collection of his comics adaptation of Raymond Queneau’s Exercises in Style and recently, with his wife, author and cartoonist Jessica Abel, Drawing Words and Writing Pictures: Making Comics: Manga, Graphic Novels, and Beyond by First Second.
